Centennial Modern Ranch
It takes a big leap of faith from a homeowner to tear everything down to the studs — as well as tearing off the roof. Luckily, our clients had been through several previous renovations and were up for it. We knew they appreciated living small, so we added space, but just enough and no more than needed. We did this by converting the old garage to a kitchen, and adding a small bedroom wing for a primary suite.
The renovation also included modifying the roofline, creating a much more compelling glass-filled facade, which we worked to ensure still fit with the scale of the neighborhood. Finally, we added high-efficiency systems, new windows and doors, siding, and finishes and fixtures throughout.
